Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join their team at the Home Office in Roseville, MN. This is a hybrid position with a minimum of three days on-site (Hamline Office, Roseville, MN).
The Senior Communications Specialist serves as a communications partner responsible for advancing ministry-wide priorities through the development and execution of integrated communications plans, messaging and stakeholder engagement strategies.
This position partners with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to translate complex business, operational and strategic initiatives into clear, meaningful and actionable communications. Through strategic counsel, message development, executive communications, storytelling and multi-channel communication planning, the Senior Communications Specialist helps align employees, leaders and key stakeholders around ministry priorities.
The Senior Communications Specialist reports to the Senior Director of Marketing Communications and works collaboratively with PHS management staff, site leaders, and functional directors of assigned areas of accountability, along with internal and external partners and vendors.
As one of the primary writers and editors of leadership communications, employee communications, business publications, thought leadership, campaign messaging and other strategic content, the Senior Communications Specialist plays a pivotal role in planning, executing and evaluating communications initiatives that support ministry-wide objectives. This role also builds relationships and consensus among leaders, stakeholders and cross-functional teams to advance communications objectives in a matrixed environment.
