Overview

Presbyterian Homes & Services is hiring a RN Telephone Triage Nurse. The Triage Nurse provides after hours and weekend telephone triage support to our Assisted Living Communities. This position will office out of one of our PHS locations and/or from home. This position requires a current RN license for Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa.  Assisted Living Nursing and/or phone triage experience is preferred.

 

The position is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Responsibilities

The Telephone Triage Nurse (RN)  is responsible for providing telephone response and delegation to the Resident Assistants (Home Health Aids) working within the Assisted Living settings of PHS and requires competencies in clinical assessment, computer skills and customer service.   The Telephone Triage Nurse  is responsible for knowing and supporting regulatory and clinical practices in providing direction and clinical (over- the- phone) assessment to support the residents in providing high quality care. 

Qualifications

  • Registered nurse with current licensure with the State Board of Nursing in state(s) in which PHS operates.
  • Interest in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices.
  • Assisted Living nursing and/or phone triage experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $39.25 - $43.00 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
