Overview

Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking an Annual Giving Manager & Donor Analytics member to join their team.

 

The Annual Giving Manager & Donor Analytics plays a vital leadership role within the Presbyterian Homes Foundation. This position combines expertise in data systems, donor analysis, and fundraising to  inform strategy and drive engagement. 
 
The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about data-informed donor engagement to further the Foundation's work of fostering a culture of generosity that advances the mission of PHS.
 
REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Annual Giving Manager & Donor Analytics reports to the Vice President of the Foundation or designee. This position will work collaboratively with all Foundation colleagues, participate in Operations Team meetings, and will work with Management & Services staff, Site Leaders, and other functional areas of PHS.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include managing annual giving initiatives, analyzing donor data to support Gift Planners and the Vice President, and stewarding donors through creative and effective engagement strategies. This role will also support planned giving strategy through data analysis and forecasting, provide back-office support with donor databases, and serve as a resource across Foundation Operations.

 

Key Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

  • Annual Giving & Donor Stewardship: Lead strategy and implementation for annual giving across all communities and donor types, and develop creative and consistent stewardship strategies for first-time donors and donors not assigned to gift planner portfolios.
  • Data Management & Analysis: Provide data analysis and reports to inform Foundation-wide strategies and individual Gift Planner activity.
  • Database Administration & Operations Support: Assist with database integrity, best practices, and training, and also operations support (such as gift coding) during peak workload times. 
  • Strategic Projects & Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues on cross-functional projects, campaigns and initiatives, as needed.
  • Demonstrate good stewardship of available resources. Assist in the care and maintenance of departmental equipment, supplies, work areas, and facilities; obtain supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Promote continuous self-development and growth. Exhibit technical competence in the field by being familiar with and ensuring compliance with regulations and established best practices.
  • Maintain current knowledge of community resources and organization and industry policies and practices. Use discretion and independent judgment to compare and evaluate possible courses of action and decision-making.
  • Support the integration of Christian Culture through communication and education systems.
  • Other areas as identified to support aligned goal setting and achievement, as identified by VP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; experience in fund development environment required.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis to inform fundraising strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency with donor management systems (DonorPerfect preferred) includes data reporting, analysis of data, record coding, complex queries, and gift processing.
  • Familiarity with planned giving and planned gift illustration preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools required; familiarity with Power BI and other data visualization tools preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy with donor and organizational information.
  • Experience training staff on database and reporting tools preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS’ mission and operating philosophies.

Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $60,070- $75,067 yearly. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.
