Presbyterian Homes & Services Folkestone is seeking an Executive Chef to join its Nutrition and Culinary Services team. The Executive Chef is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experience for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices.
SCHEDULE/HOURS: Full-Time, requires flexiabiliy to work early mornings, evenings, weekend, and holidays as needed to meet operational needs. Typical schedule averages 40-45 hours/per week, but may vary based on events, staffing, and resident needs. This position is over time pay elgiable.
REPORTING STRUCTURE: The Executive Chef reports to the Nutrition & Culinary Services Director. The Executive Chef directly supervises Cooks/Chef positions.

• Plan and direct meal preparation, production and service based on established menus, regulations, established policies, procedures and best practices.
• Ensure consistent quality; establish presentation technique and quality standards.
• Prepare and cook meals as needed.
• Participate in menu and recipe development and modification to meet quality standards.
• Regularly solicit customer feedback and incorporate solutions regarding the quality and satisfaction with meals served into meal and service planning.
• Manage resource allocations, including per meal costs and food waste and food recycling in order to achieve or exceed operational goals. Recommend or institute changes in techniques or procedures for more efficient operation.
• Provide adequate staffing model that meets customer needs and financial goals.
Must demonstrate the ability to work with Microsoft and web based business applications
