Overview

Optage, a division of Presbyterian Homes and Services, is seeking a medical records and intake administrative professional to join its Home-office team as the Optage Services Coordinator Float to support Home Health frontline workers with the coordination of care services and float where assistance is needed with intake services, medical records and office support.  This position also will work alongside our Business Development team in key functions and initivatives.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Optage Services Coordinator - Float reports to the Optage Services Manager or designated leadership team member.

Responsibilities

The Optage Service Coordinator Float provides support and designated services within the Optage Home-office. This position will float between and be cross trained to assist in roles that include but are not limited to Intake, Service Coordination, and general Office Support.  This position would include obtaining medical records for review, scheduling of clinicians, electronically filing and follow up for necessary paperwork. It would also include communication with clinics, hospitals, families, and our PHS sites & partners, providing excellent customer service. Learning how to assist both Home Health, being assigned to special projects, and working with Intake makes this job perfect for anyone who enjoys variety or is looking to explore different roles within Home Health Care.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year experience in home health, hospice, senior housing, or health care related environment.
  • Must have understanding of basic medical/clinical terminology and reimbursement.
  • Must have strong communication, problem solving skills, and customer service focus.
  • Must be able to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a team player, willing to take directions and accept responsibility for meeting specified objectives.
  • Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all
    customers.

 

Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $21.93-27.00 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
