Responsibilities

The Intake Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service and public relations needed to assist in the efficient operation of the Opatge Meals program. Responsibilities include providing customer support within the Optage intake team, providing administrative and routing support for all areas within the home delivered meal program, data entry and database records management, and other duties as assigned.

 

The Intake Assistant is responsible for coordinating Optage Meals new client admissions processes to ensure successful client base in accordance with customer needs and operational goals as well as established best practices and procedures.

 

Qualifications

    1. High school diploma or equivalent. 
    2. Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated knowledge of computer software applications, such as desktop publishing, project management, spreadsheets, and database management.
    3. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously and to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data.
    4. Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
    5. Must be a team player, willing to take directions and accept responsibility for meeting specified objectives.
    6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    7. Experience with various office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line phones, fax machines, etc.
    8. Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
    9. Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

 

Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $17.95 – $22.09 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends on many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
