Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a Fitness Instructor for our team. The Fitness Instructor leads, instructs and motivates individuals or groups in exercise activities in assigned PHS locations. This may include aquatic exercise activities if aquatic facilities are located on the assigned campus. The Fitness Instructor works with the Fitness Director to develop the curriculum and lesson plans necessary to ensure classes are delivered to address the wellness objectives of the participants. Additional responsibilities include: ensuring the facilities and equipment are operating safely, maintaining a high level of sanitation and cleanliness in the Fitness areas, and ensuring program and services are operated in accordance to policies and procedures as well as State and local regulations.
SITES SUPPORTED AND SCHEDULE: Summerwood of Chanhassen and Flagstone in Eden Prairie.
REPORTING STRUCTURE: The Fitness Instructor reports the the Fitness Director at the designated HUB. This position collaborates with Site Leaders and staff at designated work sites.
CURRENT OPENING INCLUDING SITES AND SCHEDULE: This is a FT benefit eligible position. The ideal candidate will work 40 hours a week split between Flagstone and Summerwood of Chanhassen. 28 hours per week at Summerwood of Chanhassen and 12 hours at Flagstone. This will be a very flexible weekday schedule; Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm.
