Salary: 16.74 to 19.65 - Based on Experience

 Walnut Ridge is seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our team.

 

Walnut Ridge is a beautiful senior living community located near I-35/80, adjacent to the walking trails and aquatic center in Clive and in close proximity to several restaurants, retail shops and medical facilities.  The campus is comprised of 116 independent living apartments, 44 assisted living apartments, 18 memory care assited living apartmetns and a beautiful skilled care center for 60 residents.  The campus also houses an exceptional wellness center and warm water swimming pool that employees are encouraged to enjoy.

Responsibilities

The Cook is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experience for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices. 

 

Qualifications

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations strong desired.
  • Demonstrated compatibility PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
