Overview

Harbor Crossing in White Bear Lake, MN is hiring Nursing Assistants for Work on Weekend Packages. You do not need a CNA to work in Assisted Living. You would receive time and a half pay (1.5 times your base pay) for working every weekend. This is a 6 month commitment of working every weekend. You can have 2 weekends off within the 6 months. No experience necessary, we will train if you have a heart for the mission. We are a people-centered org vs. profit-centered. Harbor Crossing offers a yearly cost of living increase, pay increases based on hours worked and education benefits. Currently hiring for:

  • Every weekend (Sat/Sun) from 2p-10p,
  • Every weekend. One weekend (Sat/Sun) would be NOC 10p-6a and the opposite weekend could be PM (Sat/Sun) - your choice,
  • FYI - if you want full time status (30+ hours per week, we could look at adding additional shifts, but only the weekend shifts receive weekend package pay).

Salary: $16.85 - $20.92+ base pay/hour based on caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ADL’s as scheduled and assist other Resident Assistants as needed while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
  • Monitor changes in Resident’s condition
  • Transferring and assisting residents with mobility using various methods (gait belt, mechanical lifts, etc.)
  • Ensure residents are cared for with dignity.

Qualifications

  • Caregiving experience preferred but applicants without experience will still be considered.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
  • Commitment to work every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
