SCHEDULE/HOURS:  

Monday: 12PM-5:30PM

Tuesday: 12PM-5:30PM

Wednesday:8AM- 5:30PM

Thursday: 12PM-5:30PM

Friday: 8AM-5:30PM

Responsibilities

This position is a co-teacher position working with children between the ages of six weeks to 5 years, depending on classroom assignment. Intergenerational interaction is highly encouraged in this setting. This position is responsible for all aspects of the Child Care Program, including intake, filing, organizing and maintaining participant files. Also responsible for providing children with a educationally stimulating learning experience and a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Requirements Teaching certification and/or a 4-year degree in Child and Family Studies or related degree.
  • Demonstrated positive attitude, integrity, dependability and compassion.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customer.
