Overview

Our HallMar Village community is seeking full-time and part-time Cooks to join our team! 

 

Full-time: 6am - 2pm, 8-4pm or 10am - 6:30pm

Part-time: 6am - 2pm, 8-4pm or 10am - 6:30pm, 12pm -6pm 

 

(These hours may include working every other weekend. )

HallMar Village is a joint ministry of Mercy Medical Center and Presbyterian Homes & Services. This senior living community will offer independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartment homes as well as long term care suites. With the Village Center at its heart, the community offers inviting and comfortable living spaces along with outdoor elements including patios, courtyards, gardenening spaces, and walking trails.

Responsibilities

The Cook is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experience for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices. 

Qualifications

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations is strongly desired.
  • Demonstrated compatibility PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
