Overview

Carondelet Village is seeking Full Time, Part Time & On Call Caregivers ( Resident Assistant / CNA / HHA / Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide ) to join our Care Center or Assisted Living Team team.

Shifts may include:

 

Assisted Living: 6:30am-2:30pm, 2:30p-10:30pm or 10:30pm to 6:30am

Care Center: 6:30am-2:30pm, 2:30p-10:30pm or 10:30pm to 6:30am and occasional short shifts in the evening

 

Currently, the Care Center has Work Every Weekend PM schedules available with premium pay!

  • Hours available for either PM shifts on weekends.
  • Base pay available for weekdays starting at  $17.85 & TIME & A HALF base pay offered for working weekends for 6 months = Certified Nursing Assistants - starting at $25.27 an hour or higher based on experience!
  • Required 16 hours per weekend and 6 month minimum commitment to weekend package hour

The Carondelet community consists of assisted living, memory care and long-term care offered in partnership between the Sisters of St. Joseph and Presbyterian Homes & Services.

 

Salary: $16.85 - $20.92/hour

Responsibilities

  • Perform ADL’s as scheduled and assist other Resident Assistants as needed while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
  • Monitor changes in Resident’s condition
  • Transferring and assisting residents with mobility using various methods (gait belt, mechanical lifts, etc.)
  • Ensure residents are cared for with dignity.

Qualifications

  • Caregiving experience preferred but applicants without experience will still be considered.
  • To be considered for Care Center/TCU: Current Nursing Assistant Certification required or willing to take CNA class paid for by PHS.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
  • Commitment to work every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
