Presbyterian Homes & Services - Prairie Gate in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is seeking Resident Services Director / Social Services Director to join its Care Center team.
Schedule: This is full time, 40 hour/week position working primarily Monday through Friday.
Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Campus Administrator.
ABOUT THIS COMMUNITY
The sprawling, multi-wing Prairie Gate complex is being built on 17.5 acres and offers a full continuum of care. It includes 36 independent living apartments, 24 assisted living apartments, 18 memory care apartments and 72 skilled nursing suites.
At the heart of the community will be the two-story 21,000 square foot Town Center offering an array of amenities and services, including community gathering spaces, restaurant-style dining, a bistro, salon, library, club room, business office, guest suite, chapel and wellness center with aerobics studio. Outdoor pathways, prairie plantings, gardens and a courtyard will be just outside the doors in a beautiful patio setting.
The Resident Services Director is responsible for developing, planning, implementing, supervising, and monitoring the resident services staff and program for residents consistent with regulations and established best practices. The Resident Services Director provides support through resident/family advocacy, ongoing assessment and evaluation, service coordination and care planning. The primary focus of this position is the quality of life of the residents to assist them in achieving “their best day”.
The Resident Services Director has responsibility as a member of the site leadership team to participate in the planning and implementation of strategies and programming that assure high quality resident care while achieving short and long-term operational goals and objectives for the site.
