    Senior Lifestyle Design – The in-house design firm for Presbyterian Homes & Services, the interior design company of Presbyterian Homes & Services, is seeking a full time certified Senior Interior Designer with 7+ years of experience of healthcare and senior living design to join its team.


    Senior Lifestyle Design (SLD), in partnership with Presbyterian Homes and Services (PHS) works collaboratively designing new senior living communities and renovating existing communities for Presbyterian Homes and Services and for other organizations around the country.


    The Senior Interior Designer at PHS-Senior Lifestyle Design is responsible for all aspects of design development of our senior living communities. Join our team of talented designers who are engaged throughout the process, from initial design concepts, specification writing of all FF&E, procurement and installation.


    The Senior Interior Designer will partner with design team members, developers, and operational staff as well as maintain excellent coordination with contracted architects and general contractors to complete a full turn-key project whether new construction or renovation of our existing communities.


    • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in interior design.
    • Interior Design certification as set forth by the State of Minnesota Board of AELSLAID required.
    • 7+ years of applicable with emphasis in healthcare design, strongly preferred.
    • Competent in Turn Key projects from Design Development through Project Installation/Post Occupancy Evaluation.
    • Effectively establish and manage workflow and project schedules for multiple design teams.
    • Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
    • Ability to write accurate and specific specifications.
    • Demonstrated computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Revit and other common computer programs.
    • Must be a team player, willing to take directions and accept responsibility for meeting specified objectives.
    • Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work within specific timelines.
    • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
    • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
