    Senior Lifestyle Design – The in-house design firm for Presbyterian Homes & Services, is seeking a part time Interior Design Intern to join its Design team. We are the in-house Interior Design firm for Presbyterian Homes & Services, specializing in all aspects of designing for senior living environments
    This position is non-benefit eligible working 15-20 hours a week.
    Senior Lifestyle Design (SLD), in partnership with Presbyterian Homes and Services works collaboratively designing new senior living communities and renovating existing communities for Presbyterian Homes and Services and for other organizations around the country.



    A Design Intern with Senior Lifestyle Design will require excellent time management skills, flexibility to move between project teams to assist in all stages of the design process, and strong verbal communication skills. Duties include space planning, pulling finishes to support individual design concepts, accurately transferring specifications into design documents, library updates and supporting design team members in reaching project goals.


    • Candidate must be a recent graduate or currently enrolled junior or senior year college student in Interior Design
    • Effective and professional communication skills with design team members, clients, manufacturer’s reps and peers
    • Knowledge of spacial concepts, material finish selections, and the design development process
    • Demonstrated computer efficiency with programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp, Word and Excel
    • Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS Mission and operating philosophies
    • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers
