  • Overview

    Presbyterian Homes & Services - in Williamsburg, Iowa - is seeking Resident Aides to join our Long Term Care team.  Applicants must be willing to be enrolled in the Iowa Nurse Aide Training Course to be held at Highland Ridge.  This is a FREE course to qualified applicants.  Applicants must be available to work permanent full-time hours.  Classes are scheduled August 13, 2018 to August 31, 2018,  8 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Upon successful completion of the course, including state testing, Aides will be promoted to a Resident Assistant - CNA to work 2nd shift.

    Responsibilities

    The Resident Aide assists in resident care by providing non certified personal care and services to residents under the supervision of the supervising nurse, consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
    • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
