    Presbyterian Homes & Services - Kirkland Crossings, Pewaukee, WI - is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team!

     

    This is a full time, benefit eligible (32 hours per week), Monday-Friday, daytime schedule position.

    The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision and monitoring of high quality clinical care and services to residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. 

     

    Must treasure seniors and have experience working in a CBRF/RCAC.  Experience in a care coordination/case management preferred.

     

    Must have excellent communication skills working with staff, families, residents and community partners.

     

    Located approximately 20 miles west of Milwaukee, Kirkland Crossings is a beautiful, active and dynamic Christian senior community on a 12-acre campus in a natural prairie setting complete with ponds, prairie meadows and foot trails, providing a sense of privacy and serenity.  Kirkland Crossings was founded in 2001.

    Responsibilities

    The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the provision and monitoring of high quality clinical care and services to residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. 

     

    • Follow the steps of the nursing process: Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care based upon regulations and established clinical best practices.
    • Perform nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of each resident.
    • Maintain all required documentation in accordance with regulations and established clinical best practices.
    • Coordinate clinical care with other health care professionals inside and outside PHS.
    • Maintain a work environment for employees conducive to high productivity and morale. Maintain effective communication systems with employees.
    • Assist in the orientation of new team members as assigned.
    • Manage the performance of assigned staff under your supervision. Coach and assist staff to achieve desired outcomes and individual development.

    Qualifications

    • Registered Nurse with current licensure with the State Board of Nursing in state(s) in which he/she practices.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Interest in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices.
    • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
    • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
