  • Overview

    Presbyterian Homes & Services - Stonecrest of Woodbury is seeking a highly motivated, full time, Monday - Friday, day shift Engineer.  This position will be responsible for various aspects of mechanical systems, building maintenance and engineer work including preventative maintenance, repair of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting repairs, life-safety systems, and security systems.  Other responsibilities include general building and grounds care, apartment turns consisting of painting, wall and other repair, carpet and floor care and maintenance from daily work orders and participation in a 9 week on-call rotation.

    Responsibilities

    Create a safe and secure environment by maintaining the buildings, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices. Maintain an attractive campus appearance consistent with the PHS design intent. Execute assigned responsibilities for buildings and grounds as defined by the site leadership.  Assignments may include; floor care, resident moves, remodeling, painting, building maintenance, customer requests, landscape care, snow removal, pools and other projects. 

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated ability to perform Level III core competencies specific to job as defined by site requirements.
    • Able to work independently, multi task, follow directions and work under supervision.
    • Relate well and provide a professional image and services to all customers.
    • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
    • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
