    Presbyterian Homes & Services, Optage Home and Community Based Services division is an Office Assistant to join its team.


    Our Optage Primary Care team is looking for an Office Assistant to support the Practice Administrator 16 hours per week. Flexible on days/hours. No wknd, no holidays.




    The Optage Office Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Optage operations in the area of data entry and database records management.

    Key areas of responsibility of this position include, but are not limited to are:

    • Create a positive customer experience by prompt attention to service requests that also includes communicating completion of assigned tasks. Anticipate and act accordingly to re-occurring customer needs.
    • Establish and maintain effective communication systems with all customers and staff.
    • Provide support for data entry and records maintenance in a timely and professional manner, including storing, retrieving, and integrating information for dissemination to staff and customers. This includes but is not limited to phones, calendar management, processing response to incoming mail, composition of correspondences, expense report reconciliation, administrative support for meetings management, etc.
    • Develop and maintain knowledge in database programs and systems in order to answer and direct questions appropriately. Use computer software accurately and efficiently, including Microsoft Office applications.


    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Two (2) to Four (4) years of administrative or office support experience.
    • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated knowledge of computer software applications, such as desktop publishing, project management, spreadsheets, and database management.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously and to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Experience with a variety of office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line phones, postage meter, fax machines, etc.
    • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS' mission and operating philosophies.
    • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
